November 15, 2015, J and L Industries LLC is honored to join the Kohler Engine team of certified repair shops. The beginnings of KOHLER engines can be traced back to 1920, when the KOHLER Automatic Power and Light 1500-watt Model “A” generator set was introduced. In 1948, Kohler increased the company’s focus on manufacturing engines by opening a small engines factory and introducing the first “stand alone” KOHLER engines for industrial applications. Many improvements have been made up to the present day. In 2008, Kohler Engines announced its product offering would expand to include gasoline and diesel engines from 4 to 65 horsepower. Kohler also announced that all of its Command PRO and Aegis twin-cylinder engines would come standard with electronic fuel injection (EFI), for more fuel-efficiency and reduced emissions. J and L Industries LLC has been trained in EFI products and is ready to service your EFI products.
June 8, 2016 J and L Industries LLC was granted dealership status for Ferris Landscaping Equipment. For professional as well as the home owner that needs a cut above the rest.
Ferris has a long history of quality and innovation. “Products are a reflection of the people that build them.” We’ve built products for over 100 years with that philosophy in mind. We recognize that our reputation for reliable and quality products would not exist without a dedicated and talented team of people behind them. Our state-of-the art manufacturing facility is located in Upstate NY. Ferris’ continued commitment to reliability and innovation has defined the company as a leader in the commercial market.
Ferris® designs its commercial landscaping equipment to help you get more done with greater ease. How do we beat the competition in mower productivity without sacrificing a quality cut?
Start with the industry-leading innovation: the first multi-patented suspension system for the riding lawn mower, making it possible to cut faster – not slow down – even on uneven terrain. Because we designed the cutting mower deck to respond in harmony with the suspension, you have greater control to get perfect stripe lines and a beautiful, level cut in less time. That alone puts a Ferris zero -turn mower in a class all by itself.
Our line of walk behinds provides equally impressive innovations. Ferris introduced the industry’s first-ever hydrostatic drive walk- behind lawn mower so professionals could enjoy greater ease of use and improved versatility. The same transmission powers our heavier riding mowers, so you know it’s built for extraordinary reliability.
Then we raise the stakes with built-to-last construction. Our entire fleet is designed to withstand the rigors of all-day, all-week commercial duty. Ferris utilizes quarter-inch steel at stress zones and protects areas prone to impact from curbs or transporting between jobs. Our engineers designed moving parts to last longer. We’re so sure of our product reliability, we back every Ferris mower with a two-year, unlimited-hour limited warranty (see warranty details). We are dedicated to reducing your downtime because that’s where landscapers can waste the most money.
Exclusive ingenuity.
Uncompromising performance and quality.
